Studying can be difficult, especially as distractions like social media, Netflix and YouTube get more tempting. However, there are ways to avoid distractions while studying that'll help you stay on track.

We live in a world that is full of distractions. We have the internet, social media, TV, and more. It is no wonder that we are constantly distracted. In this article, we’ll know how to avoid distractions while studying?

It is important for students to know how to avoid distractions while studying. This will help them focus on their work and finish it more efficiently.

There are many distractions that students have to deal with when they study, and some of them are more obvious than others. For example, cell phones are a distraction for most people, but some people find other things distracting as well.

Top 12 Foolproof Tips to Avoid Distractions While Studying

Distractions are the bane of anyone’s productivity. If you want to know how to focus on your studies, follow these 10 foolproof tips to avoid distractions while studying.

1. Establish a Study Routine⌚

Studying is a lot easier when you have a routine. A study routine helps you stay focused and get more done.

A study routine is simply a set of steps that you take to prepare for studying, during the studying process, and after the studying process. It can be as simple as making sure that you have all your materials ready before starting your work or as complicated as creating a detailed schedule for every day of the week.

The key to an effective study routine is preparation. Prepare yourself beforehand so that when it comes time to study, you are ready to go!

2. Get Rid of Unwanted Noise 🤫

I have to admit that I am a terrible student. I always had a hard time focusing on my studies because of the noise in my house. It was so distracting and it would make me want to do anything but study. I am not sure if this is the same for other people, but it was for me.

I used to think that it was just my family being loud, but now I know that there are other reasons for distractions as well. I found out that some people have trouble focusing because of their phone or TV and even their pets can be a distraction! Having noisy roommates can also be an issue too!

We should get rid of unwanted noise in order to avoid distractions while studying. There are many ways we can do this such as getting earplugs, wearing headphones, or turning off the TV.

3. Put Your Phone on Do Not Disturb 📱

Mobile phones are a distraction that many of us have to deal with on a day-to-day basis. If you are looking for ways to avoid distractions while studying, make sure your phone is set on Do Not Disturb mode.

Do Not Disturb mode blocks all notifications from appearing on the screen or making any sounds. It also prevents calls from being forwarded or going through to voicemail. You can schedule Do Not Disturb time in advance to focus better when you study during your exam time.

4. Track How You Spend Your Time ⏰

It’s important to be able to track how you spend your time so that you can make sure you’re focusing on the right things. There are tons of apps available for this, but there is one, in particular, I would recommend called Toggl.

It’s free and easy to use. Once you’ve set up the app, it will automatically track how long you spend working on different tasks throughout the day and week so that you can see where your time is going and adjust accordingly if needed.

5. Organize Your Tasks With a To-Do List 📝

A to-do list can help you organize your tasks and avoid distractions. It is also a good way to stay on track and manage your time. You can use a to-do list for many things, such as studying, work, or chores.

To-do lists are helpful because they force you to prioritize what you need to do in order of importance. They also help you avoid the distraction of doing anything else while completing your task.

6. Focus On One Goal at a Time 💯

When we study, it is important to focus on one goal at a time. This way, we can avoid distractions and have a better chance of succeeding. You should study smarter not harder.

It is important to keep in mind that the goal is not to memorize the material, but rather understand it. The best way to do this is by breaking down the material into smaller chunks and working on them individually.

7. Allow Yourself to Take Breaks in Between Study Sessions 💆🏽‍♀️

Taking breaks in between study sessions is very important to avoid distractions and to be able to focus. It is important that you give your brain some time off in between study sessions so it can work on what you have learned.

When people are studying they often feel like they need to be working the entire time. This makes it difficult for the brain to take a break and process what has been learned.

8. Hunt Down the Perfect Study Spot 📚

A perfect study spot is a place that helps you to focus on your studies. It should be a place that is private, comfortable, and free of distractions.

Ideally, the perfect study spot should be your home, but if that’s not an option then it could be a library or coffee shop. You can also try making your own perfect study spot by creating a designated area in your living room with everything you need for studying.

9. Install Study Apps That Block Distracting Websites ⛔️

One of the best ways to avoid distractions while studying is to install study apps that block distracting websites. This way, you can be sure that you will not be distracted by any other online content.

Some of these apps are free and some are paid. They all have their own pros and cons, but they all have one thing in common: they make it easier for students to focus on their studies without being distracted by other things online.

10. Break Down Big Lessons or Goals Into Smaller Tasks 👨🏻‍💻

Break down big lessons or goals into smaller tasks to avoid distractions while studying. This is a great way to stay focused and on track with your goals.

Breaking big tasks into smaller ones is not new, but it’s worth repeating. It can be applied to many aspects of life, from work to study.

You can even apply the Pomodoro technique for studying.

11. Meet Your Basic Physical Needs 🍽

It is important to be able to meet your basic physical needs when studying in order to avoid distractions. When you are feeling hungry, thirsty, or tired, it is hard to focus on what you are doing. You might find yourself getting distracted by thoughts of food, thirst, or sleep.

We should make sure that we have everything that we need before starting our study session. We should also try and stick with a regular schedule for eating and sleeping so that we don’t have sudden urges when we’re in the middle of studying.

12. Choose Different Study Strategies 🧠

It is important to have strategies in place to avoid these distractions while you are studying. Here are some study strategies that you can use:

Create a study zone with minimal distractions

Block out time for studying on your calendar

Take breaks every 30 minutes or so

Use apps like SelfControl (Mac) or Freedom (PC) to block out distracting sites like social media for periods of time

Studying is a skill that requires a lot of focus and discipline. There are many distractions in the world today that can take away your focus, and it is important to be aware of them. Improve your study strategy and focus on the exam.

If you are looking for a new way to make money, consider becoming a motivational speaker. This free guide offers tips for becoming a motivational speaker and shares the best resources for learning more about the career.

Motivational speakers are people who speak to audiences in order to provide motivation and inspiration. They often share their personal experiences of struggle and success.

The first step is to find a topic that you are passionate about, which can be anything from overcoming obstacles in life, dealing with adversity, or achieving your goals.

It is important to know what motivates you so that you can connect with your audience. You should also have a clear idea of what your goal is for the speech and how you want the audience to feel at the end of it.

Become a Motivational Speaker: Tips to Get Started

A motivational speaker is someone who talks about their life and how they overcame obstacles to inspire others to do the same. They share their personal story in order to help others find the motivation needed to take their life in a new direction.

There are many ways to become a motivational speaker. You can start by choosing your niche, then build your expertise in that area.

1. Read, Watch, and Listen to other Motivational Speakers

It is not easy to become a motivational speaker but it might be easier if you start by reading, watching, and listening to other motivational speakers.

Familiarize yourself with the works of other motivational speakers and see if there are any that resonate more with you than others. Consider the content of their speeches and the way they deliver them as you expose yourself to different motivational speakers.

Try watching TED Talks or YouTube videos of motivational speeches.

Read books, articles, and blogs written by motivational speakers.

Check out motivational speaker’s podcasts.

2. Write Down All of Your Ideas for Material

To become a motivational speaker, you need to have a lot of ideas and material. You should be able to speak on any topic that is related to the field of motivation.

Try to describe the message that you want to deliver through your speaking engagements. What topic do you want to focus on? Career? Relationships? Spirituality? What is your focus within this area? Entrepreneurship? Writing? Marriage? Parenting? Religion?

Write down as many ideas as you can think of and keep adding to your notes over time

3. Select a Niche in the Topic You Have Chosen

One of the most important steps to becoming a motivational speaker is to choose your niche.

This will depend largely on your own experiences and qualifications, so reflect on what you bring to the table on this topic. How is what you have to say different from what other people are saying? What experiences and knowledge do you bring to the conversation that is special?

For example, perhaps you started your own interior design business and you hope to inspire others to do the same.

Or, maybe you successfully published a book in a short amount of time and you want to pass on what you have learned to others.

4. Take a Public Speaking Course to Develop Your Skills

Public speaking is a skill that can be learned. With the right course and guidance, you can develop your skills to become a motivational speaker.

Check with your local community college or see if there are any public speaking groups in your area that you can join. This will give you a chance to develop and practice your public speaking skills. You may even be able to test out some of your speeches on these audiences and ask for feedback.

You can also look for other opportunities to speak in fronts of an audience, such as offering to give a speech at a friend or family member’s wedding, attending open mic nights at a local comedy club or bar, or hosting your own weekly live stream or podcast.

5. Ensure that Your Speech has an Engaging Beginning, Middle, and End

In order to become a motivational speaker, you need to have a strong beginning, middle, and end. This will ensure that your audience is engaged and they walk away with the message that you are trying to convey.

A well-organized speech will be easier for your audience to follow. Think about your speech as a story and decide what should come first, second, third, etc. Aim to open with something attention-grabbing, such as a shocking fact or an interesting anecdote.

For example, if you plan to give a speech on how you overcame an obstacle in your life, then start by sharing about what the obstacle was and perhaps providing a bit of context about the situation.

Then, talk about how the obstacle affected you, what changed in your life, etc.

Conclude by explaining in detail how you overcame the obstacle.

6. Read and Revise Your Speech Multiple Times Before Giving it

It is important to read and revise your speech multiple times before giving it. This will help you become a motivational speaker.

Once you have a well-developed speech, take some time to read through it carefully and revise what you have written. Expand on any details that seem unclear, rewrite any confusing sections, and don’t be afraid to cut out material that doesn’t work.

Plan ahead so you have lots of time to revise your speech before you give it for the first time. Aim to revise at least 3 times before your first speaking engagement.

7. Create a Website with Information About Yourself and Your Message

A website is a great way to showcase your personality and message to the world. This is especially true if you are a motivational speaker who wants to spread your message.

Having a website that includes information about your message, who you are, and how you can be reached is essential to getting work and promoting yourself. Take some time to set up a professional quality website or hire someone to create one for you. Then, share the web address with everyone you know to start promoting yourself.

8. Write a Blog, Make Videos, or Publish a Book

The best way to become a motivational speaker is to write a blog, make videos, or publish a book. Blogging is one of the easiest ways for anyone to start their own motivational blog.

Getting your ideas out into the world will help you to build a reputation and market yourself as a public speaker. Try writing a book or making a video about your experiences or around the problem that you hope to solve with 1 of your speeches. Start a personal blog for your public speaking career and post on it a few times per week.

For example, if you want to give motivational speeches on starting a business, then you could write a how-to book or a series of blog posts on the subject.

If you want to motivate people to improve their relationships, you could create a video series with relationship tips or answer common questions about relationships in your videos.

9. Tell People that You are Looking for Public Speaking Engagements

Public speaking is a very good way to get your message out there. It is a great way to connect with people and share your story. It is also a great way to connect with people and share your story.

Word-of-mouth is an excellent way to promote yourself as a public speaker. Tell your friends, family, coworkers, and acquaintances that you are embarking on this career. Hand out your card or contact information to everyone you meet.

Networking events are a great way to gain contacts and start getting work via word-of-mouth. Check to see if there are any upcoming events in your area that you could attend and meet people.

10. Reach out to Local Organizations and Offer to Speak for Them

The world is full of people who are looking for a little bit of motivation. Motivational speakers are always in demand, and it’s not difficult to see why.

If there are relevant organizations in your area that hire public speakers, then contact them and offer your services. Consider what organizations might sync up with the type of public speaking you offer and focus on those organizations.

For example, if you overcame drug addiction and want to inspire others to do the same, you might contact local rehabilitation centers or hospitals.

If you struggled in school due to a learning disability, but then found a way to overcome it and become successful, then you might contact local high schools to offer your services.

11. Apply to Speak at Conferences, Conventions, and other Events

There are many events that actively seek people to speak. Look into any relevant conferences, conventions, or other events in your region and apply to be a speaker.

These can be competitive, and you might not get paid in the beginning, but doing these types of events can help to spread your name by word-of-mouth and get you more work as a public speaker.

12. Wear a Nice Suit or Dress When You Speak

Looking professional is a great way to make a good first impression on your audience and improve your credibility before you even open your mouth! Put on a nice suit or dress to give your speech, style your hair, do your makeup (if you wear it), groom your facial hair (if you have any), and choose a nice pair of shoes that match your outfit.

13. Stay in 1 Place while You are Speaking and Avoid Pacing or Fidgeting

It is okay to move once in a while during your speech, but make sure that you move with purpose and stop speaking whenever you change locations. When you get to the new location, plant your feet firmly beneath your shoulders and stand tall while you are speaking.

Avoid swaying back and forth while you are speaking. This gives the impression of uncertainty and can be distracting to your audience.

Also Read: How to Become a Person of Action in life

14. Engage with Your Audience to Keep them Interested

Think about how you might tell your story to a friend and talk to the audience in a similar way. If there is anything in your speech that might be unfamiliar or confusing, take a moment to put it into terms your audience can understand.

Make sure to compliment the audience on their competence, accomplishments, or anything else you know about them.

15. Make Eye Contact with 1 Person at a Time During Your Speech

Look for a friendly face in the audience and lock eyes with them for a few seconds. Then, scan the audience again and lock eyes with someone else. Continue to do this throughout your speech to connect with your audience.

Avoid looking up, down, or off in the distance. This will give the impression that you are nervous and detract from your credibility

16. Gesture with Your Hands for Emphasis Occasionally

While waving your hands constantly while you are speaking can be distracting, the occasional hand gesture can add emphasis to your speech. Try raising 1 or both hands to emphasize a point once every few minutes. Keep your hands relaxed and at your sides the rest of the time.

Don’t put your hands in your pockets, clasp them together, or cross your arms. These are defensive postures that will make you seem nervous.

Avoid fidgeting with objects, such as a microphone, water bottle, or your cell phone during the speech. This will be distracting for your audience.

If you need to hold a microphone, hold it in 1 hand. Don’t pass it back and forth.

Also Read: How to overcome the fear of sharing new ideas

17. Project Your Voice to the Last Row if You Don’t Have a Microphone

If you end up giving a speech to a group of people without the benefit of a microphone, you will need to speak up to compensate. It might seem like you are yelling at first, but this is better than speaking so quietly that some audience members won’t be able to hear you.

Take deep breaths and use your diaphragm to help you project your voice from your belly, rather than from your chest or throat.

18. Watch Videos of Your Speeches to Improve Your Performance

Have a friend or family member record you while you are giving your speech. Then, watch it later and look for areas that you might improve. Ask for feedback from friends, family, or a public speaking coach as well.

For example, if you notice that you tend to say “um” or clear your throat a lot during a speech, then you could work on correcting this behavior.

You know exercise is good for you. Doing it, though, is another thing. In this article, I’ll show you how to boost motivation for a workout or how to find the motivation to workout

To stick with an exercise routine, you need to get out there when that little voice inside you says, “I’ll do that tomorrow. Or the day after — maybe.”

Motivation does that, and it’s not about just powering through.

1. Lighten Up Your Goals

Your fitness goal may be too big for you right now, especially if you’re new to exercise.

Beginners “want to go for maximal goals, but they tend to get overwhelmed,” says Gerald Endress, an exercise physiologist at Duke Center for Living in North Carolina.

So don’t start off trying to work out an hour every day. Instead, set more reasonable, achievable goals, like exercising 20 to 30 minutes two or three times a week.

2. Track Your Progress

Chart your workouts, whether you do it online or in an old-school fitness journal. Seeing improvements, whether running faster, doing more reps, or working out more often, makes you want to keep going.

3. Delete Guilt

Get real. You’re going to miss a day or two. If you accept that there will be some side steps on your fitness journey, you’ll be better prepared mentally to deal with setbacks, Endress says.

Don’t let a misstep be an excuse for giving up.

4. Focus Only On Yourself

There will always be someone fitter, faster, or more flexible than you.

Don’t compare yourself to them, Endress says. Forget about them. Do not let them deter you from your goal. Your workout time is for you, and about you.

5. Get a Cheering Squad

Find people — friends, family, co-workers, neighbors — who will encourage you to stay on track. Ask them to do exactly that.

“The person should be in support, but not say, ‘Why can’t you? It’s so easy,'” says Carla Sottovia of Cooper Aerobics in Dallas. If helpful reassurance turns into criticism, gently remind your pal that you don’t need nagging.

6. Find the Fun in It

If you can’t get motivated, maybe you’re doing the wrong activity. Or you used to like it, and now it’s gotten stale. Pick activities you like the most, and they become something to look forward to. Remember, exercise does not have to happen in a gym. Maybe you’d rather go hiking or horseback riding, do a charity run or walk, or dance.

7. Break It Up

Talk yourself into exercising for a few minutes. You may want to keep going. If not, you can do a couple more mini-sessions during the day, instead of one long workout.

8. Make It Convenient

When you’re busy, don’t spend 30 minutes driving to a gym. Use online exercise videos instead. If you’re too tired to work out at the end of the day, set your alarm a little earlier and exercise in the morning.

9. Forget the Past

So maybe you weren’t the most athletic kid in high school and were the last chosen for class games. That was years ago. Your goal now is not to win a letter jacket or make the cheerleading squad. You want to exercise to stay healthy and enjoy your life.

10. Reward Yourself

Treat yourself to working out.

Choose rewards like a new outfit, a massage, new tunes, a ball game — whatever you enjoy.

You know what it’s like when you first start losing weight or building muscle. You’re full of motivation and determined...

You know what it’s like when you first start losing weight or building muscle. You’re full of motivation and determined to reach your goal this time, even if you’ve tried and failed before. The problem is that within a few short weeks, the awesome motivation for men that you did feel has vanished.

Unfortunately, you haven’t been doing it long enough to really create the habit.

But it doesn’t matter!

You can regain your mojo and reach your target by using these Success Mantra that has worked as motivation for men just like you.

The Main Problem With Motivation

You probably know the fantastic warm feeling when you decide to do something new. You may have spent time getting yourself some new workout gear and deciding on the best exercise routines.

You’ll also feel pretty good about yourself for the first few days or even a week or two. But, then the motivation for men hits a bump; you do not see the results that you want.

This may be because you’ve set your goals too high; it’s not advisable to lose 5 pounds in one week.

Combine this with a lack of time to exercise, and your motivation will nose dive. Without this, you’re going to struggle to get started. After all, it can take weeks or even months to build a habit that will carry you through the less motivated times.

Success Mantra to Boost Motivation for Men

Fortunately, there are some simple Success Mantra you can employ today to find your motivation in any situation:

Get Something New to Get You Motivated

You remember the feeling of excitement you had when you bought your new running shoes or the extra weight for your dumbbell. I’ll bet you were eager to try them out as soon as possible.

That’s what you need now, something new to get you motivated again.

This can be a new item of sports clothing. However, it can also be an opportunity to try a different workout or exercise routine.

That’s the real secret here; variety keeps you interested. Doing the same thing every day will allow boredom to set in. Doing the same thing every day is almost certain to destroy your motivation.

Visualize The Results

Sometimes all the motivation you need is to know that you have to make a change for your own health. Or you may have a specific holiday or reunion in mind when you want to look your best.

This can often be enough to keep you working out even when you’re not feeling motivated.

But, you can want to and even enjoy working out!

The trick is to visualize the results. This is a proven strategy that works. Picture yourself as a toned or even shredded guy. But, make sure you picture the detail; the way you’re muscle flex as you lift 200 pounds or the way you smile as you cross the finish line of the marathon.

Research shows that picturing something will provide your brain with the instructions to make it happen in just the same way as if you wrote down your aims.

Try it now, and feel your motivation levels surge.

Pick A Date to Set Yourself

A great way to improve your motivation is to set yourself a date. For example, if you want to be able to run 26 miles, then pick a reasonable date in the future and enter yourself for a marathon.

You’ll stay motivated because you have to be ready by that date to show the world what you’re made of.

In fact, telling your best friends as soon as possible will ensure they help you to stay motivated. This is through their personal comments and your sudden accountability.

The same is true if you want to complete a particularly difficult workout or lift a set amount of weight. Set a date and tell others what you are doing; they will make you accountable and keep you motivated.

If you ever lack the motivation to work out, just picture their faces when you succeed in your challenge.

Get A Partner to Exercise With

An extension of the accountability principle is getting a Partner to exercise with you. This can be your partner, best friend, or even this article.

Find someone with a similar goal. You can report with each other daily and motivate each other.

Reviewing Your Journal Regularly

You may also find it very helpful to start recording your workouts, feelings, and when you were enjoying the best levels of motivation.

Reviewing your journal regularly will help you to establish when your motivation falters the most. You may even see when you are more inclined to work out and change your schedule to suit.

Do One Thing

It’s often the thought of working out that gives you an issue rather than the actual workout. This is actually an easy motivation issue to overcome.

All you have to do is put your workout clothes on and undertake one activity. It doesn’t matter what it is. You’ll quickly feel the rush of endorphins and the satisfaction of actually doing something.

Doing something will quickly become a desire or motivation to do more.

Just one thing is all it takes to end up doing a whole workout!

Scheduling

Don’t underestimate the importance of setting a schedule.

If you’ve blocked out the time to exercise on your calendar, then you’re less likely to miss your workout even if you don’t feel motivated to do it.

The great thing about scheduling is that it makes you work out, which is essential to building a habit. When motivation is no longer an issue, exercise is merely a habit and something that you enjoy!

Final Words

I’ve already mentioned the importance of having a partner to keep you motivated, accountable, and on track. You can work together to ensure you both have the motivation that you need.

Today’s article is about How to deal with loneliness. Everybody feels lonely sometimes and most of us are not aware of how important this feeling is for us.

Have you ever felt all alone in the world? We all do sometimes and it isn’t easy. When you’re going through a difficult time and feel there’s no one to turn to for support, it’s hard to know what to do. But those who are feeling isolated or alone should know there are always people who care about their wellbeing.

Why do we feel lonely and what can we do about it? I’m sharing 10 GREAT TIPS on how to deal with loneliness (emptiness).

1. Identify the cause why you feel lonely:

We cannot find a solution to a problem until we better understand what the problem is and where it comes from. It may be the result of moving, a career change, a bad breakup, or a falling out with a friend or family member.

Long-term loneliness can be fueled by mental illness, chronic physical illnesses that keep us from living an active life, loss of mobility due to sickness or aging, or friendships and relationships that don’t quite fit.

People are social creatures. Most people need to have some social connections that fit appropriately for them to stave off feelings of loneliness. Being around people who are a wrong fit in personality or emotional capacity can also make a person lonely.

A person who is unique and doesn’t quite fit into a standard social mold may also feel alone because they just can’t envision themselves as part of any collective unit.

2. Accept The Loneliness as Normal:

Just knowing that others around the globe are experiencing the same feelings of loneliness can be helpful. As mentioned earlier, 40% of people will experience loneliness at some point in time. That number may seem high-after all, the internet and social networking make it easier than ever to connect. But loneliness is subjective. It’s possible to feel lonely even if you have a significant other, children, or lots of friends.

So if you’re looking for an answer on how to cure loneliness in your own life, just realize there are millions of others feeling the same way. This normal emotion is one that almost everyone experiences at some point, and it’s something that you can overcome.

3. Find Support Online

Because loneliness is a somewhat widespread issue, there are many people online who are looking for people to connect with.

You do have to be careful of who you meet over the internet (and, obviously, don’t give out any personal information like your bank account number), but you can find real support, connection, and lasting friendships from people you meet online.

4. Remember loneliness is temporary.

Even if you’re feeling lonely now, that doesn’t mean you’ll always feel lonely or you’ll never find a community that nourishes you. “You are the architecture of your future,” Balestrieri says. “You get to go out and make new bonds.” She adds that absolutely everyone has something to offer in relationships. You’ve just got to go out and create them.

5. A pet may help

Animals are great at making us feel connected and cared for. Pets, especially dogs and cats can reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and ease loneliness. If you’re not ready for the responsibility of owning a pet, you could always get into pet minding.

Ask your neighbors and friends if they have a dog you could take for a walk occasionally, or a cat you could come over to visit and pet. If all else fails, head to a dog park! Added bonus, everyone loves animals, so kicking it with a pet is a guaranteed way to meet new people.

6. Stop your negative thought cycles.

We might repeatedly think about what we could have done differently to prevent ourselves from feeling so alone. We ruminate on the events or people or causes because we mistakenly believe that thinking about our loneliness over and over again will help us solve it. Unfortunately, it does us no good to get caught up in our thoughts instead of taking the actions we need to feel better.

7. Talk to strangers

A growing body of research suggests that even seemingly trivial interactions with strangers—like chatting with a barista or cashier—may be able to keep loneliness at bay by helping us feel more socially connected. So reach out to other human beings to say hello, ask them how they are or chat about whatever’s on your mind. These small acts can make a big difference and help you reduce feelings of loneliness.

8. Meditate Yourself

Some research has suggested that meditation may ease feelings associated with loneliness and depression. Meditation is also a great way to get more in touch with your feelings of loneliness and start to understand where they come from. Learning to meditate takes time, practice, and guidance, so your best bet is to find a meditation class in your area. If no classes are available in your area, you can also buy CDs that will help you learn how to meditate.

9. Find a volunteer opportunity

Volunteer opportunities are plentiful. Contributing your time and energy, working alongside others for a good cause, can effectively help you in fighting loneliness. Volunteer activities are shown to ease stress, reduce feelings of depression, can help you make friends and connect with others, and overall make you a happier person. A sense of happiness, fulfillment, and connection to others is yet another way to stop feeling lonely.

Additionally, working with others who have less can help you feel a deeper sense of gratitude for what you have in your own life.

10. Spend time with your family

Working to deepen the relationships with your family may also help you to stop feeling so lonely. Even if you don’t have a great history with a family member, you can still try to repair relationships by starting with an invitation. For example, you could ask a

member that you haven’t seen in a while to go out to lunch or meet you for coffee.

When trying to rebuild or deepen your relationships with family members, you can use some of the same strategies you would use to gain new friends. Take the initiative to ask the person out, be yourself, and be a good listener.

Conclusion

We’ve all been there—you are not alone.

If you are a human in this world, chances are you have felt left out from time to time. Maybe you did not land an invite to a party of the year. Or, maybe your pals forgot to invite you to lunch. Or, maybe you just have yet to find the people who make you tick. Feeling lonely because you are isolated from time to time is not uncommon. For some people, though, the feeling of loneliness persists without respite. When the feeling of loneliness continues for days, weeks, or even months, it can be seriously damaging to your mental health.

I am sure most of you all think of smart work as a shortcut to doing things. Well, it isn’t.

I have heard people say that “I am not a hard worker. I believe in smart work” Well then let me just add to this, Smart work is much more difficult than Hard Work. Do you know how much evaluation is needed to do smart work?

“Without hard work, nothing grows but weeds,” said Gordon B. Hinckley which clearly states the importance of consistency and hard work if you want to achieve well in your life. But working hard doesn’t always offer success on a plate for you, if not applied with brains.

For getting success both are necessary. Hard work is the first step for smart work. Hard work gives us experiences and the experience enables us to think smartly to solve a problem in an easier way.

here I’m Going to discuss the top ten differences between hard work and smart work (my personal observation) –

1. depending on the situation.

I believe, hard work and smart work are two different tools to complete a single task. Or you can say that they are two faces of the same coin! It depends on the duration of the task or the level of difficulty, on the basis of which a measurable amount of hard work and smart work should be put in – together!

I have learned to adapt myself accordingly to situations and accordingly apply myself. If the deadline is 2 days away, I am a smart worker. I focus on various aspects of the task, which clients need and which will have long-term impacts. If we have 2 months to complete a task, we spend time on the details and work hard to gain results. Hard work always guarantees amazing results but requires more effort and time. I work hard or work smart depending on the situation.

2. do not work hard blindly

The difference between hard work and smart work is innovation. I am a creative thinker and love to come up with ideas that streamline the work process. Every time I am given a task and I already know how to do it, I take a step back and consider better possibilities. Instead of starting out on it immediately, I tried to find out if there was a faster way to do the same work.

Brainstorming with my friends/family introduced me to new tools which eventually reduced our collective hours. It took me a day to learn the tools but ensured that in the future, the work would be delivered in even lesser time. I do not work hard blindly and instead, keep finding new and improved ways to work smart.

3. combination of both has guaranteed best result

hard work and smart work is based on how I approach my task. Hard work would mean spending long hours to complete my work without any shortcuts. It definitely ensures results but the process is long and stressful. Smart work would be aiming for the same results but with planning and prioritization of tasks.

In College (mine RTU), the trend of examination questions was repetitive. The questions asked in the last few years would be asked again. I realized this after my second semester. Since then, for the examinations, I would only study the previous 5 years’ questions. For the rest of the year, I would focus on studying everything else. Therefore I worked hard to study the entire syllabus for my own knowledge and worked smart to score well in my examinations. A combination of both has guaranteed me the best possible results always!

4. observe first then sets the goal

A smart worker is one who sets goals according to your knowledge and ability and is constantly working towards his/her goals. So, observation comes first then setting a goal. S/he also understands the importance of unwinding and keeping a healthy mind. A hard worker also works towards his/her goals just like a smart worker but s/he might lack the traits of analytical thinking, problem-solving, or delegation.

I am a worker focused on results, and I do not hesitate to ask for help to get my work done. I have been described as a “smart worker” by all management as I have been successful in leading my team to finish projects on time. In addition to this, physical health is a personal goal. Therefore I spend an hour in the gym daily trying to work hard enough, to stay fit and sharp.

5. Excellence is A to Z

In today’s world, one has to redefine the terms ‘smart work’ and ‘hard work’. Most of us think of hard work to be a ‘physical activity and smart work to be a kind of ‘mental ability. Although this was true before the age of the Internet, it no longer holds true. Excellence is all about doing the smart work day in and day out. This in itself can be considered as hard work.

In this industry, there is a lot of competition. The entire idea is to deliver fast and deliver the best to the clients. To keep delivering great work every day is hard work, but my agency has been winning the ‘Best Agency Award’ for the past few years and this is a commitment to excellence I carry with me too. Hence, I am sure I fall into the category of hard workers.

6. strategies to help us work faster

I think the idea of hard work is outdated. In the olden days when there was a lack of technology and information, most people worked hard to achieve results. In my opinion, hard work can be defined as ‘physical work or long hours of labor’. But today, we have technology, tools, and strategies to help us work faster and achieve similar or even better results.

Since college, I have been involved in many activities, and now for the past few months in my work environment with my college time, I have learned to prioritize tasks and multi-task. My friends know that I spend time planning ahead. Although this is smart work, I consider it extremely hard. Planning requires an immense understanding of the resources in hand – therefore there is hard work involved. I work smart and I do so for long hours. Consistency is the sign of a hard worker and I aim to work smart consistently.

7. smart work and hard work together make a genius

I think that smart work and hard work together make a genius. I am deeply inspired by three famous personalities – Elon Musk (CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, BadCompany, etc), Jeff Bezos (Founder of Amazon), and Warren Buffet (Stock Investor with net worth $82 B). In their stories, it is clear that they spent years working hard in their respective fields and were able to produce results, that the world had never known before!

Today, Warren Buffet can make smart judgments in the field of investments because he has worked hard to gain those skills. I do not shy away from hard work as I see that the end result will be my ability to work smartly and be the best in a particular field. Once I pick up a new skill, I am quick to apply it to get quicker results, which kind of makes me a smart worker too!

8. smart work and hard work go hand in hand

Hard work is like trying to push a big rock downhill with bare hands and smart work would be using a lever to push down the same rock! I think smart work and hard work go hand in hand. At the beginning of my career (Influencer), I was a hard worker. I took instructions, understood my job, and would immediately start working towards completing the task.

Over the last 1 year, I have observed seniors and equipped myself with crucial skills. Today I can do a mundane job in lesser time than I used to take back then. For instance, I use popular browser plugins allowed by my office, to detect plagiarism, eliminate grammar errors and improve any text in emails and documents. I also use online spell checker tools to double-check my drafts. I feel I have developed as a smart worker. But I firmly believe no one can be a smart worker without working hard first.

9. Avoid being non-productive be positive always

I feel hard work is synonymous with bull work, while smart work is logical effort! Hard work scares me and hence, I have always strived to be a smart worker. Since childhood, I have discovered that I cannot concentrate on one task for long periods of time. Rather than considering this as a weakness, I worked on achieving more in short time spans. I have developed my own process to work – as soon as I am assigned a task I spend 15 minutes researching about the same. Then I take 5-10 minutes to note down any questions that I might have. Over the next 20 minutes, I try to break down my task into 1) actionable steps to be taken 2) goals to be achieved.

I try to get clarity on my questions. If not, I focus on steps that I have the most clarity on and start there. It allows me to start a project feeling focused and positive. To avoid being non-productive, I plan short breaks in between my work schedules to stay engaged. Hence, I am a smart worker.

10. hard worker vs smart worker

Hard Worker:

A hard worker is a person who consistently works towards what he perceives to be worth working on, regardless of how dynamic the situation might be. Success for the Hard Worker doesn’t come overnight but only after putting in long hours at work and depriving himself of the comforts of life.

Smart Worker:

Allen F. Morgenstern said way back in the 1930s “work smarter… not harder”. The reason behind it is that a smart worker is a person who works towards what he perceives to be worth working for and applies his brain and efforts in the most efficient manner with the help of integration of both. It guarantees successful results with minimal human energy wasted.

We need to work hard as well as smart to achieve success in our lives. Only one of both will not be sufficient in this modern world. And hence both hard work and smart work are essential to succeed in life.

Thank you!

Do you want to know how to stop thinking about someone? Do you want to know how to stop missing...

Do you want to know how to stop thinking about someone? Do you want to know how to stop missing someone? In this blog post, I will answer both of these questions. Generally, when we want to stop thinking about someone, we try to push the thoughts away, stop them, deny that we have them, or distract ourselves from these thoughts.

There are 12 steps that you can take to help you stop thinking about your ex, or anyone else about whom, and you may be experiencing unhealthy or obsessive thoughts. This isn’t easy, and it is highly improbable that you will achieve your desired outcome. Nonetheless, it will help you on your journey to recovery.

1. Make the Decision

The very first step to every action is to take a firm decision on what you want to do and stay on that decision. The same applies here. What do you really want to do? Stop obsessing about someone; forget the person completely, etc. You need to make up your mind about what you want to do and stand firmly on it. Sometimes clarity is all it takes to make a progress and face reality.

2. Focus on the Future

You have to stop yourself from mulling over what your ex did or why they are no longer in your life. Tell yourself that things will change and improve with every passing day. Do not let you stuck in the mud and envision yourself enjoying life. Have yourself surrounded by people you love. You will be happy if you choose to be happy. Just keep the faith and know that the future has some nice stuff for you in-store. That belief will take you far and help you forget about someone.

3. Don’t Stalk Them Online

This is one of the most difficult things to do. You would want to check the person’s social media timelines, see what they’ve posted, where they are if they are happy without you or not. These are actions that will keep your head filled with that person. If you really want to get them off your head, quit stalking them whether physically or online. You’ll never move on unless you keep all news about this person away from you.

4. Set Priorities and Deal with Problems Carefully

The best thing is to identify the biggest problem and tackle it first. For some clarity, you need to overcome your anger because it keeps you from thinking straight. First, deal with yourself – exercise, meditate or take a walk – before you confront someone else.

5. Think of their negative traits

One way to stop thinking about your ex is to think of their negative traits and make yourself understand that you deserve better. Tell yourself that the person was not as perfect as you thought. Do not just remember their flaws but also heighten them to make you feel better. Never try to criticize you or blame yourself for what happened.

6. Avoid Being Depressed

Being dumped by someone you were in a relationship with could bring a lot of baggage which includes depression and low self-esteem. Try to have a good laugh and enjoy yourself. Engage in activities that will cheer you up like comedy, and adventures. Do not allow yourself to get into depression.

7. Stay offline

Block them on social media, or at least stop following them for a while. If you find that seeing them or what they are doing sends you into a tailspin, stop seeing them altogether.

It’s okay to keep some distance between you, and even if you need to keep that distance forever, do what’s best for you first.

8. Get Busy

Moments of loneliness metamorphoses into a lot of thinking and one of the things you’re surely going to think about is that person who hurt you so much. An idle mind they say is the devil’s workshop. So keep yourself engaged, get busy, and avoid lonely periods.

9. Go On Vacation, Visit New Places

Sometimes, all you need to move on is a change of environment. Go on vacation visiting places you’ve never been to, focus on new things accepting the fact that the person has moved on with their life which means you have to move on with yours.

10. Use Your Imagination

Meditation helps and becomes even more beneficial when accompanied by powerful imagery. It will help you feel better once you have forgiven the person. It will also save you from stressful thoughts.

11. Quit Discussing That Person

Talk about anything but that person. Avoid discussing with your friends about the person you’re trying to forget even when they (your friends) try to bring it up. Discussing them will only stir up thoughts you’ll go pondering on after the discussion.

12. Hang out with friends

Be around people who make you glad to be alive. Find your friends whom you’ve probably been melting since hooking up with your ex and revive those relationships.

Remember these few tips and try to use them. They will definitely help you quit thinking about this person. Always remember that this person has moved on with their lives and probably is thinking about someone else. So believe in yourself and get on with your life.

Psychologists, New Age thinkers, and religious leaders have been talking about the Law of Attraction for years, though it gained popularity when...

Psychologists, New Age thinkers, and religious leaders have been talking about the Law of Attraction for years, though it gained popularity when the book “ The Secret” made waves in 2006.

The law is simply this: We attract whatever we think about, good or bad.

What Is The Law Of Attraction?

Simply put, the Law of Attraction says that you will attract into your life whatever you focus on. Whatever you give your energy and attention to will come back to you.

So, if you stay focused on the good and positive things in your life, you will automatically attract more good and positive things into your life. If you are focused upon lack and negativity, then that is what will be attracted to your life.

Under the Law of Attraction, the complete order of the Universe is determined, including everything that comes into your life and everything that you experience. It does so through the magnetic power of your thoughts.

Understanding just how the Law of Attraction is a fundamental key to your success. If you want to change your life, and empower yourself to create an amazing future, then you need to understand your role in the Law of Attraction.

Here are just a few areas in your life that you could improve by utilizing The Law Of Attraction.

Manifest Love And Relationships

Attract Money And Wealth

Improve Your Mental And Physical Health

Attract Success And Abundance

Here are 14 ways to understand the Law of Attraction and how it applies to manifesting the destiny you desire.

14 ways to understand the Law of Attraction and how it Works

1. Create a vision board for the life you want

Vision boards have become a really popular exercise for figuring out exactly what you want in your life. In their simplest form, these boards contain images and words that resonate with what you want to attract your way. Hang your collage in your living space where you can see it every day. Then, look to your vision board for daily inspiration to work toward your goal.

2. Replace your worries with thoughts about how things could go right.

Worrying can make you manifest what you’re trying to avoid. When worries happen, challenge them by questioning how likely they are to happen. Then, think about what has happened in the past when you worried. Next, consider how bad the worst-case scenario would be if your worried thoughts actually happened. You’ll likely realize it’s not that big of a deal in the long run.

3. Set A Clear Path & A Clear Plan To Manifest Destiny

The Law of Attraction is very simple. You have to know what you want. You focus on the positive aspects of what you need, desire, or want to manifest. Positive attracts positive; negative attracts negative. This is where the saying ‘misery loves company’ came from. Lower-level energies will flock together. If you want to manifest, you envision rising above these energies and staying in the positive. … This can be further detailed by saying that if you think it, it will come. Words have power and thoughts can be energy,” according to Estes.

Manifesting destiny relies on you first identifying what you want, setting out a clear plan to get there, and thinking positively about the outcome.

4. Focus on what you want in your life, not what you’re lacking.

Don’t think about your old, broken-down car. Instead, picture yourself driving a new car. This puts the focus on what you want to bring into your life, rather than what you want to eliminate. It sends the message to the universe that you expect good things to happen!

5. Visualize your dreams coming true.

Close your eyes and picture yourself living the life you want. Imagine doing your dream job, showing off your talents, or sliding into your new car. Do this every day to solidify your intentions and bring them one step closer to reality.

6. Express gratitude for what you already have.

Appreciating the good things in your life helps you feel better about your life, which supports your positive mindset. List the things you’re grateful for aloud, or write them in a gratitude journal. Additionally, thank people for the good things they add to your life.

7. Give yourself time to learn how to stay positive because it can be hard.

At first, it will be hard for you to keep your thoughts positive. It’s natural for negative thoughts to come back to you. However, you can help yourself focus on the positive by intentionally confronting negative thoughts. Acknowledge them, dismiss them, then replace them with something positive. With practice, you can become more positive over time.

8. Do one small task every day to work toward your goal.

Start by setting a goal to spend 15 minutes a day pursuing your goal. Then, work your way up from there. To keep track of your progress, make a list of small steps you need to take toward your goal, then check them off when you do them. These small actions will help you produce big results!

9. Hold yourself accountable for the work you put into your goals.

Set expectations for yourself, and acknowledge when you don’t meet them. Then, examine why you struggled to keep up with your expectations and decide if changes need to be made. Similarly, reward yourself for the hard work you put into your goals.

10. Ask for the things you need and want from others.

This is the only way for them to know what you expect from them. No one can read your mind, so you have to tell people what you’re thinking. Be direct and honest about what you need and want, and you might just get it.

11. Use positive self-talk to motivate yourself to take action.

It’s normal to have negative thoughts about yourself, but this can hold you back. When you catch yourself thinking negatively, the question that thought and replace it with a positive thought. Additionally, repeat your favorite positive mantra to yourself throughout the day to keep yourself on track.

12. Focus on changing your response to hardships rather than avoiding them.

You can’t stop all bad things from happening, as this isn’t possible. However, you can choose to have a better reaction to them. Instead of getting upset, accept hardships as part of life. Then, reach out to people who care about you to get support.

13. Take control after a setback or hardship to boost your confidence.

Facing an obstacle can shake your confidence and break your positive mindset, but regaining control gives you back your power. Start by listing the actions you can take to move forward. Then, do one small thing to help you move in the right direction

14. Meditate at least 5 minutes a day to lower your stress levels.

Stress is a normal part of life, but too much can be overwhelming. Relieve your daily stresses with a short meditation that will relax both your mind and body. For a simple meditation, sit in a comfortable position, then close your eyes. Focus on your breathing, letting your thoughts come and go.

Final Words: The Law of Attraction allows for infinite possibilities, infinite abundance, and infinite joy. It knows no order of difficulty, and it can change your life in every way if you let it.

It is always difficult to overcome the situation of breakup when someone who used to be there or you all...

It is always difficult to overcome the situation of breakup when someone who used to be there or you all the time disappears or leaves that void created is hard to fill up. but it isn’t impossible. you can do it, but you need time. give yourself time, start working on getting to know yourself (introspect).

Go buy a nice pair of sports shoes for yourself and start to workout or play football or whatever you like. other than that, start hanging out with your best buddies and if you think you don’t have any … well go shopping again and buy a disco dress and go dancing 😉 socialize and share your story with them and let the boohoo out :).

and the biggest solution to all .. go see F.R.I.E.N.D.S or GOT I’m sure you’ll be unloaded from the crappy load of tension on your head.

PS heartbreaks are a part of life 😉

To heal a broken heart, it maybe difficult at first, but gradually you will get better with these steps:

1. Find People Who Understand The Depth Of Your Grief

Unfortunately, many people trivialize heartbreak, especially in situations like breakups or the loss of pets. Make sure you turn to people who are understanding.

Surrounding yourself with supportive people can also distract you from heartbreak. “Use social contacts and events to keep your mind off dwelling and misery,” Winch tells Bustle. “Engage with the people and activities that make you feel like you and connect you to your core.”

2. Go through it, not around it

I realize the most difficult task for a person with a broken heart is to stand still and feel the crack. But that is exactly what she must do. Because no shortcut is without its share of obstructions. Here’s a simple fact: You have to grieve in order to move on. During the 18 months of my severe depression, my therapist repeated almost every visit: “Go through it. Not around it.” Because if I went around some of the issues that were tearing me apart inside, then I would bump into them somewhere down the line, just like being caught in the center of a traffic circle. By going through the intense pain, I eventually surfaced as a stronger person ready to tackle problems head on. Soon the pain lost its stronghold over me.

3. Get the energy out

This is especially needed if you’re feeling a lot of anger. Anger, sadness, anxiety, grief, depression, are all energies that want to be released from your body.

One of the best ways to get the energy out is to get moving. Go for a run while blasting your favorite music through your headphones. Punch a punching bag (seriously, kickboxing class helped me get through A LOT of emotions). Get your sweat on in some way, and do it consistently.

4. Don’t Analyze Why It Happened

In the case of a breakup, many people prolong their heartbreak by trying to figure out why it happened. The partner of one of Winch’s clients gave her a reason, and she still chose to hunt for an alternative explanation rather than believe him. Believe your ex about why they broke up with you, take from it what you need to, and stop analyzing it.

5. Talk to someone who cares

I heard someone say once that 90% of good counseling is just talking out how you feel. It’s amazing how much better you feel when there’s someone you can talk to who totally understands what you’re going through. The person you are sharing with is like a human crutch to help you through a time of brokenness. It’s kind of like when a guy gets hurt on the football field injuring his knee. Two of his teammates get around him and help carry him off the field. That’s what happens when you have a broken heart. When someone is there, they can help strengthen you when you hurt the most.

The people who suffer the most from heartbreak are those who have no one to help them. The wisest man in the Bible, King Solomon, said, “Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.” So find a friend or family member, someone you can trust to keep your secrets and talk it out. You’ll be glad you did.

6. Make a good and bad list

You need to know which activities will make you feel good, and which ones will make you want to toilet paper your ex-lover’s home (or apartment). You won’t really know which activity belongs on which list until you start trying things, but I suspect that things like checking out his wall on Facebook and seeing that he has just posted a photo of his gorgeous new girlfriend is not going to make you feel good, so put that on the “don’t attempt” list, along with e-mails and phone calls to his buddies fishing for information about him. On the “feels peachy” list might be found such ventures as: deleting all of his e-mails and voicemails, pawning off the jewelry he gave you (using the cash for a much-needed massage?), laughing over coffee with a new friend who doesn’t know him from Adam (to ensure his name won’t come up).

7. Give yourself time to heal

If your heart has been broken, it will take time for you to completely heal. At the time of the break-up, almost everyone thinks they will never feel normal again. But God has designed us so we will heal from wounds. It’s amazing to see how our human spirit comes back again. Some people heal faster than others. Some people’s emotions go deeper than others. The deeper your emotions, the longer it will take to heal. But sooner or later you will begin to feel alive again and you will learn to accept this new feeling. Don’t fight the healing process and you will be on your way to smiling again in no time. So be patient with yourself. You will get through this.

8. Turn up the radio

Science suggests that music has a therapeutic effect. (No, not that breakup album with the sad, lovesick songs.) Blare some of your favorite, feel-good tunes: Listening to them can trigger the release of endorphins, lifting your spirits and combating stress.

9. Don’t Avoid Things That Remind You Of Your Ex

Many people will avoid songs that their ex played for them, restaurants where they went on dates, mutual friends, and other reminders of their exes so that they don’t experience the heartbreak all over again. But this will just make you continue to associate these things with your ex, so it’s best to revisit them and build new associations with them.

More generally, don’t let the breakup interfere with your life. “Keep doing the things that used to bring you enjoyment and interest even if they don’t seem interesting and enjoyable,” says Winch. “Going through the motions is an important way to give yourself the message that life goes on.”

10. Live an outstanding life

Get back to your center. Right now get out a piece of paper and write down 10 nurturing things you can do to help you get back to your strong grounded self. Call a friend, set up a coaching session, take a yoga class, buy flowers for yourself, take a bath, go for a long walk while listening to your favorite playlist, clean out your emails, declutter your closet and donate what you no longer need, go to the bookstore and buy Getting the Love You Want, He’s Just Not That Into You, The Breakup Bible to start empowering yourself.

Don’t allow this breakup to continue hurting you by hardening your heart and closing off to new love. Get out there. Meet with friends. Live. Laugh. Love. Be happy.

The secret to getting over a breakup lies within you. If you find yourself continuing down the same path with the same type of guys, then commit to uncovering and healing your patterns.

Keep faith that you will find amazing soul level love. You deserve it.

You all have one question in your mind that Why is Rich getting Richer and Poor getting Poorer and what...

You all have one question in your mind that Why is Rich getting Richer and Poor getting Poorer and what is the Big difference between Rich and poor people? The answer is “Mindset“ or says “Way of thinking“. There are huge differences between rich vs poor mindsets.

(Pause for a second before we continue. Just to be clear, this isn’t an article about going from zero to a million in a lifetime. No clickbait here. No, this article is about giving you tools you can add to your mental toolbox.)

“Every human on this planet has the potential to be rich Including You“

here are 7 amazing differences between rich vs poor mindsets –

1. Rich people invest money, poor people Spend money

Cash flow is a very important part of getting rich. Rich people invest the money that produces more and more money for them. However, poor people believe in savings or wasting. They save money and keep it to themselves. And afterwards, they spend it where it never comes back.

So, start acquiring financial literacy even if you are well educated with tonnes of degrees. Because college never teaches financial literacy.

2. Rich people think big, poor people think small

Rich people understand that it takes a shot at the stars to truly become successful. Here is the funny part, even if you don’t reach the stars, you’ll land somewhere near them. Oprah Winfrey, for example, didn’t just let her humble beginnings lead her a simple fast-food job. She shot for the stars and most definitely got there. Stop thinking small. If you want to become a pro-soccer player in La Liga or MLS, then make that your vision. If you want to become CEO of Google, make that your vision.

Poor people think small and realistically. They never look past their potential or past their environment. I can relate to the first one personally because I didn’t grow up in a very nice neighborhood with amazing houses. Instead of allowing my humble beginnings to make me think I can achieve anything, I used it as fuel to power me towards my grand vision.

3. Rich people are committed to being rich, Poor people want to be rich

Everyone wants to be rich. Given the choice between being poor and being rich, very few people would say that they would rather be struggling to get by.

If you want to actually become rich, you need to be committed to it. You need to be willing to take the next step forward whether you feel ready or not. You need to put in the work. You need to take the risks.

Commitment might mean getting up earlier. It might mean reading a book that will improve your mind instead of catching up on Netflix. Whatever form it takes in your life, there should be tangible signs of your commitment that you can point to. Desire can be all talk, commitment takes action.

4. Rich people act according to intelligence, poor people act based on feelings

Rich people act according to their intelligence. They never work according to their feelings. They are goal-driven and they do whatever it takes to reach by using their intellectual brain, not based on feelings.

However, poor people always work based on feelings. If they are not in the mood to do something, they won’t do it at all.

So, start using your brain and intelligence and never make decisions based on feelings

5. Rich people focus on opportunities, Poor people focus on obstacles

Rich people will factor in the competition, time, and lack of business education, but they will not let that stop them. They will purchase books or use YouTube to educate themselves while they wait to get their business approved. No matter what, they will take the opportunity. From now on think positively in everything you do. Even if everyone around you is better than you, still give yourself a positive mindset and positive outcome.

Meanwhile, Poor people always focus on the obstacles a.k.a. the negatives. Let’s say you have this amazing talent for cooking. People suggest that you start a business or at least write a cookbook. Instead of seeing an amazing opportunity, a poor person will see only the obstacles. They think to themselves: “There are already so many cooks in the world and it’ll take forever to get a business license. I know nothing about business, etc.” They then abandon the idea and go back to their dead-end job.

6. Rich People celebrates the successes of others, Poor people feels jealousy

Rich people celebrate the successes of others. It embraces the competition and often befriends it. You have two choices, tear down another person’s success or be inspired by the example.

Poor people feel jealousy and bitterness about the successes of others. It looks at everything as a zero-sum game.

There will always be people who have accomplished more and most likely done it better than you. Find a competitor and make them your mentor. Lead with humbleness and gratitude and you will be greatly rewarded.

7. Rich people act in spite of fear, Poor people let fear stop them

Things like wealth and success require you to take the scary act of stepping out of your comfort zone and executing on the things that will make you successful.

My big recommendation here is to make your dream bigger than your fear. Write it down. Repeat it to yourself. Visualize it as often as you can. Make it something you can’t imagine living without. Facing your fear is painful, but if the pain of staying the same becomes greater than the pain of changing, you have a chance.

8. Rich people take risk, poor people escape from it

Rich people are willing to invest resources with seemingly no reward right away. Not everything has a clear path to profitability. You have to take a chance and try. It’s about risk vs. reward.

Poor people, immediately thought, “What’s in it for me?”. Why pay money to fly to that conference, pay for the hotel, and spend all the time when they’re not even paying you?

You need to be willing to take calculated risks because no reward worth discussing came without risk. Being uncomfortable is Important, it means you’re growing

9. Rich people finds solutions, Poor people finds excuses

Rich people never complain. They are constantly looking for solutions. You need to start looking for solutions and you will never be the same. It takes practice to shift your focus from the problems you have in life to solutions.

However, poor people complain and they find problems in every solution. They focus on the things they can’t control instead of looking the things they can control.

So, here’s another difference between the rich vs poor mindset that clearly tells you to focus on solutions and you will be on the way to riches. null

10. Rich people are creators, poor people are consumer

I don’t want to hurt you but it is the truth. Rich people have a creator mindset. They are constantly looking forward to creating value for other people. As you already know, money chases value. However, poor people have a consumer mindset. They always spend their money on the stuff that are created by rich people.

This is how the rich get richer and the poor get poor.

Getting rich isn’t as simple as changing your mindset. However, changing your mindset can go a long way to changing the way you see the world. And when you see the world differently you can behave and respond differently to the stimuli around you. When you do that, you have the potential to outperform.
